These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Safari Lodges India website and the booking of accommodation, safari experiences and related services offered through Safari Lodges India
By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, making a reservation or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Bookings & Reservations
- All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by Safari Lodges India.
- A booking is considered confirmed only after the required booking information and applicable payment or advance amount have been received and confirmation has been issued.
- Rates, availability and applicable inclusions may vary depending on the property, dates, season, room category and applicable booking terms.
- Guests are responsible for providing accurate information at the time of booking, including guest names, contact details, travel dates and other information required to facilitate the reservation.
- Any special requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed unless specifically confirmed by Safari Lodges India.
Rates & Payments
- All rates displayed or communicated by Safari Lodges India are subject to the applicable taxes and inclusions stated at the time of booking.
- Payment terms may vary depending on the property, booking dates, rate plan and booking channel.
- Any additional services, meals, activities or other charges not included in the confirmed booking may be charged separately.
- Where payment is processed through a third-party payment provider, the transaction may also be subject to that provider’s terms and conditions.
Cancellation & Modification
- Cancellation and modification policies applicable to a reservation will be communicated at the time of booking or included in the booking confirmation.
- Cancellation charges, where applicable, will depend on the booking terms, date of cancellation and applicable rate plan.
- Requests to modify dates, room categories, number of guests or other booking details are subject to availability and applicable charges.
- Certain promotional, seasonal or special rates may have different cancellation or modification conditions.
Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in and check-out times will be communicated as part of the applicable booking information.
- Guests may be required to provide valid identification and other information required for registration at the property.
- Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
- The lodge reserves the right to apply applicable charges for damage, loss or additional services arising during a guest’s stay.
Safari & Wildlife Experiences
- Safari experiences in and around wildlife reserves are subject to the rules, regulations, permit availability and operating decisions of the relevant forest and wildlife authorities.
- Safari permits, entry permissions, routes, zones and timings are subject to availability and may be changed, restricted or cancelled by the relevant authorities.
- Wildlife sightings are entirely dependent on natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed.
- Safari Lodges India does not guarantee sightings of any particular animal, including tigers or other wildlife.
- Guests participating in safari and wilderness activities are expected to follow the instructions of naturalists, guides, drivers, lodge staff and relevant authorities.
- Guests must comply with applicable wildlife, forest and park regulations at all times.
Guest Responsibility
- Guests are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully towards:
- Wildlife and the natural environment
- Local communities
- Other guests
- Lodge staff
- Property and facilities
- Guests must follow safety instructions and applicable lodge, forest and wildlife regulations.
- Any behaviour that creates a safety risk, causes significant disturbance, damages property or adversely affects other guests or wildlife may result in appropriate action by Safari Lodges India.
Children & Minors
- Children staying at or participating in activities at the lodges remain the responsibility of their accompanying parent or guardian.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that children follow applicable safety, lodge and wildlife guidelines.
- Age restrictions or additional conditions may apply to particular activities or experiences.
Health & Safety
- Guests should inform Safari Lodges India of any relevant requirements or limitations that may affect their stay or participation in activities.
- Certain safari and outdoor activities take place in natural environments and may involve inherent risks.
- Guests are expected to follow all safety instructions provided by lodge staff, naturalists, guides and activity operators.
Property & Personal Belongings
- Guests are responsible for taking reasonable care of their personal belongings during their stay.
- Safari Lodges India cannot be held responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
- Guests may be responsible for costs arising from intentional or negligent damage caused to lodge property, facilities, furnishings or equipment.
Photography & Wildlife Conduct
- Guests are expected to follow responsible wildlife-viewing practices.
- This includes:
- Maintaining appropriate distance from wildlife
- Following guide and naturalist instructions
- Avoiding unnecessary noise
- Not feeding or attempting to attract wildlife
- Respecting park and forest regulations
- Avoiding actions that may disturb animals or damage the environment
- Guests should also respect the privacy of other guests and local communities when taking photographs or recording content.
Third-Party Services
- Safari Lodges India may provide information about or facilitate access to certain third-party services, activities, transportation providers or booking platforms.
- Where a service is provided directly by a third party, that service may be subject to the third party’s own terms and conditions.
Force Majeure
- Safari Lodges India shall not be responsible for failure or delay in providing services where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
- Such circumstances may include natural disasters, extreme weather, wildlife or forest-related restrictions, government or regulatory actions, changes in park operations, transportation disruptions, civil disturbances, epidemics, pandemics, technical failures or other unforeseen events.
- Where such circumstances affect a reservation or experience, Safari Lodges India will make reasonable efforts to communicate the situation and provide available alternatives in accordance with the applicable booking terms.
